NOTE:  A 15% non-refundable deposit, per camper, is required by credit card to complete this registration.  Remaining balance is due as follows:

  • 30% of total registration is due March 19, 2021
  • 30% of total registration is due April 9, 2021 
  • Final Balance is due April 30, 2021

Head Into The Wild to put your outdoor skills to the test, or learn new ones! During the day, join the Dubuque County Hunter Safety instructors and the Iowa DNR Conservation Officers to learn outdoor survival, orienteering, fishing and gun safety. Spend your nights at Camp Little Cloud cooking over a fire, going swimming at the pool, hiking to the creek and sleeping in a tent! There is so much do to outside, why not do it all?!  Campers will leave the property to visit Swiss Valley Nature Center and the Izaak Walton Club.  Adults.

Participants in this session will stay in a platform tent or tee-pee. Participants will shoot a .22 rifle and a 20 gauge shotgun while earning their Iowa DNR Firearms Safety CertificateAll activities are subject to change. If a specified activity is cancelled, a comparable activity will be provided.

Cancellation Policy
GSEIWI reserves the right to cancel any camp program. Refunds of the summer camp deposit will be made if the session is cancelled. All other deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If a camper cannot attend the session she registered for, we encourage families to transfer the fees to another available session. Refunds of the camp fee (minus the deposit) will be granted if written notification of cancellation is received at least three weeks prior to the start date of the session. An exception will be made if the camper has an illness documented by a physician or there is an emergency in the camper's immediate family.
